Board Member Qualifications
Kusilvak Rising is seeking experienced board leaders from the Kusilvak region who bring strong integrity, strategic insight, and expertise in federal contracting to support the organization’s long-term growth.
Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in 8(a) government contracting, federal procurement, or SBA-related business development

• Knowledge of compliance and certification requirements, federal proposal processes, and organizational governance

• Background in finance, strategic planning, or management of revenue-generating subsidiaries or LLCs

Eligibility and ethical requirements
Prospective board members must maintain a clean legal and ethical record with no history of fraud, debarment, suspension, or criminal activity related to business integrity. Candidates must also be able to meet background standards commonly associated with participation in federal contracting and have no unresolved federal debts, tax liens, or delinquent government obligations.
